Lagoon Hospitals Celebrates World Health Week with Nestle foods

Lagoon hospitals joined Nestle foods nigeria to celebrate the just concluded world health week, tagged, 'Depression: lets talk' , and the world malaria day April 25, 2017, tagged 'End Malaria for good'

The visits took place at the Nestle factory in Agabara Industrial Estate, and the Nestle country corporate headquarters, at Ilupeju Industrial Estate.

The Hospital was represented by a medical team and The Marketing Team and met with a warm welcome by the
Chief Matron of the facility.

The medical team conducted vital signs check for a handful of factory workers at Agbara, on Thursday 25th April
and at the Ilupeju head office on 27th April, 2017.

Lagoon Hospitals conducts Joint Pain School.

Joint Pain School is an interactive session in Orthopedics organized by Lagoon Hospitals.
The Joint Pain School is held on a monthly basis and is conducted by our Consultant and Orthopaedic Surgeon Professor Segun Abudu who is also a Consultant at Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in the UK.
The session helps enlighten patients and the public on the incidence of Bone & Joint diseases and how to prevent, manage and correct the same through medication or surgical means.
The last class was held at Gold Cross Hospital, 17 Bourdillon on Thursday 30th March 2017 and was attended by a large audience. The highlight of the session was the interaction between the attendees and the Clinician along with testimonies from those who have benefited from the class in the past and those who have had their surgeries done in Lagoon Hospitals. Lagoon hospitals shows support for Walk-Against-Cancer

It was an impressive turn out for the walk against cancer, as people from different walks of life turned up to show solidarity in the fight against the silent killer—cancer.
The event which held on the 3rd of December, 2016 was the main feature for Jackson, Etti and Edu law firm’s 20th anniversary. The anniversary was celebrated by the walk which was to show support for Optimal Cancer Care foundation- an NGO dedicated to preventing cancer, penury and misery in the lives of the people of Nigeria. Lagoon hospitals was on hand with an ambulance to cater to the participants during the walk. Having shown support in the fight against cancer in the past, Lagoon will not relent in its efforts in ensuring that Nigerians are made aware of the effects of cancer. Hence, the continued efforts in raising awareness encouraging Nigerians to get screened early enough to nip the disease in the bud before it is able to do damage.
